Twin Lakes-Randall Recreation program has a new director.

Jennifer Svoboda is succeeding Val Lass, who held the position for the last nine years.

“It was time to pass the torch,” said Lass, who will now be a board member for the program.

Svoboda is a 2014 graduate of University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, currently working as an instructional aide at Lakewood School in Twin Lakes. She has been an instructor with the program for the last five years. As director, Svoboda will be involved in all organizational and administrative tasks for the program, which offers 50 summer classes and a winter youth basketball league.

“It’s all about the kids,” Svoboda said.
