Some local municipalities should see little change in their local government leadership as they will have all uncontested races in the April 7 election:
Paddock Lake — Only incumbents President Terry Burns and Trustees Dick Fish, Gary Kaddatz, Kathy Christenson and Municipal Judge Bob Brenner filed candidacy papers by Tuesday’s deadline.
Bristol — Only incumbents President Mike Farrell and Trustees Colleen Fisch, John McCabe and Municipal Judge Fred Ekornaas filed candidacy papers by Tuesday’s deadline.
Twin Lakes — Only incumbents President Howard K. Skinner and Trustees Sharon L. Bower, Kevin Fitzgerald, Aaron Karow and Municipal Judge Bruce Goodnough filed candidacy papers by Tuesday’s deadline.
Paris — Only incumbents Chairman Virgil Gentz, Supervisor #1 Ronald Kammerzelt, Supervisor #2 Ken Monson and Clerk-Treasurer Beverly McCumber filed candidacy papers by Tuesday’s deadline.

Really sad. Nobody will run again. Same old Paris. Dying and fading away.
