Randall voters will see a rematch in 2015 of the town chairman contest from 2013.
Both incumbent Bob Stoll and challenger Phillip Johnson filed their candidacy papers before Tuesday’s deadline.
Other town offices had only the incumbents file for re-election:
- Supervisor #1 Lauren Fox.
- Supervisor #3 Randy Kaskin.

I think Mr. Johnson will bring a fresh, new perspective to our Town. I think we have tended to become a bit “stagnant”, and Mr. Johnson will be able to address some of the issues facing our town. I look forward to an open and honest debate between the 2 candidates. I think they both have the best interests of our town at heart, I’d like to see Mr. Johnson being given the opportunity to put forth his ideas into reality. I would encourage all voters to become informed on the issues. And to vote, of course@
I would like to know the candidate’s position on Randall being forced to “donate” $50,000 to Silver Lake for the library building that THEY purchased. I think the Randall voters have a vested interest in this.
Any chance Randall could upgrade our rescue services to PARAMEDIC level? Being that one of the candidates works for Silver Lake Rescue Squad, and the other has vast EMS experience from the Kenosha Fire department, perhaps that expertise could be put to use helping us to upgrade. I think working closely with Randall Fire Department, our medical services could be vastly improved. Not knocking what we have now, just would feel better protected having PARAMEDICS responding to our medical emergenices. Can anyone advise, or am I off base here?
Mr Johnson brings new ideas and a fresh look at Randall Township. He is educated in public administration and has walked the walk. My money is on him. He can bring new life to our township. Good luck Mr. Johnson.
