Snow enters forecast for Sunday and Monday

Snow with some accumulation is in the latest local National Weather Service forecast for Western Kenosha County.

Sunday’s snow should mostly come between midnight and 2 p.m. Temperatures should also start plunging and the snow will be blowing with 10 to 20 mph winds with up to 30 mph gusts. New snow accumulation Sunday of around an inch is possible. The low Sunday night should be around -7.

Snow should take a break for a while Sunday night and Monday during the day. But snow is expected to start again Monday night, with 2 to 4 inches of accumulation possible. Monday’s high will be 6 and the low 4.
