White Christmas Eve in the forecast

Snow is in the forecast. When all is said and done on Wednesday, there could be over 2 inches on the ground.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Wednesday from noon to 9 p.m. Snow could start around 6 a.m. and continue until about 9 a.m. and start up again at about 2 p.m. and continue as late as 11 p.m., with the probability of snow falling off at about 6 p.m. In between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., it’s likely it will be raining instead of snowing.

The high temperature Wednesday will be 38 with a low of 28.

On Christmas Day, there’s no precipitation in the forecast with a high temperature of 38.
