The Country Club Trails neighborhood of Twin Lakes was again full of sounds of the season Friday, Dec. 12 as a group of friends from the neighborhood got out and sang Christmas carols door-to-door.

This was the third year for neighborhood caroling. Thirty one children participated this year. Everyone gathered at one house at 6 p.m. and loaded the kids onto decorated trailers.

Some of the houses were expecting the singers and had platters of cookies waiting. One house was having a party and invited the carolers in to sing for their guests.

When caroling was over the group had a holiday party of their own, complete with food and drinks that were brought to share and hot chocolate that the kids enjoyed after all of their singing.
