Salem School Board seeking applicants for board vacancy

salem-sign-webThe Salem School District is seeking applicants for people interested in serving on the Board of Education.

The vacancy on the board was created by the resignation of Kim McLeod. McLeod resigned via a letter from her husband citing health reasons, said district administrator David Milz.

Here is the district’s request for applicants:

Residents of the Salem School District interested in serving on the Salem School Board of Education from now until April 26, 2015 in an appointed capacity should submit:

  • Contact Information including address.
  • Letter of Interest including reasons for wanting to serve.
  • Brief Resume, include past or current public service, education, and other information you believe is relative to this public service opportunity.
