Paddock Lake 2014 Lighted Holiday Parade is Saturday

Paddock Lake’s second annual Lighted Holiday Parade will take place  Saturday, Dec. 20.

The 2014 theme is Frozen.

The parade starts at 4 p.m., with lineup at 3:30 p.m. The parade will start at McAlonan Park on 248th Avenue and head north to 61st Street, then east to 236th Avenue and then north to Village Hall. Participants in the parade will include: West of the I, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, Westosha Kiwanis Club, Central High School Choir, Fulmer Dentistry, State Farm Insurance, John’s Disposal, Salem Fire/Rescue, Boy Scouts, The Paddocks, Falcon Trailblazers Snowmobile Club and Santa Claus.

Pictures with Santa and a tree lighting will take place at Village Hall after the parade. There also will be a bonfire in the park just north of Village Hall.

Sponsors of the event include: Marv and Allison’s Sentry, Subway of Paddock Lake, Davison Law Office and Painless Tattoo.

    Hey all you golf cart people, light-em up. Get your golf carts out of the garage and pack them full of lights and ornaments. Join the parade (start a new tradition) and show the rest of us that they’re for a lot more than just driving down to the lake and store.
