At about 4:03 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue and Bristol Fire and Rescue units and sheriff’d deputies are responding to a report of a chimney fire in the 8400 block of 235th Avenue in Salem.
Per dispatch: Caler originally reported flames from chimney but later reported only embers.
UPDATE 4:09 p.m. — Deputy on scene and fire units arriving in scene report no visible flames.
UPDATE 4:11 p.m. — Fire command at the scene calls off all still responding units.
