At about 4:11 p.m., Paris Fire and Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to the 4000 block of Highway 45 in Paris for a crash.
Per dispatch: Single vehicle off the road and in the ditch.
UPDATE 4:18 p.m. — Deputies blocking traffic on Highway 45 at Highway 142 to the north and Highway NN to the south. Bristol Fire and Rescue being dispatched to set up a landing zone for Flight for Life medical transport helicopter.
UPDATE 4:19 p.m. — Town of Salem Fire/Rescue being requested to respond with an advanced life support unit to the crash scene. Flight for Life estimated time of arrival is 16 minutes.
UPDATE 4:37 p.m. — Flight for Life on the ground at landing zone and ambulance headed to landing zone.
UPDATE 4:43 p.m. — Ambulance arrives at landing zone.
UPDATE 5 p.m. — Flight for Life helicopter taking off from the landing zone.
