Paddock Lake voters are getting a chance today to vote on whether golf carts should be allowed on paved village roads.
The referendum is non-binding.
First incomplete results at 8:19 p.m. are: Yes 164 to No 64.
UPDATE 8:26 p.m. — Latest incomplete results: Yes 665 to No 409.

Great so now your going to have 14 year old kid flying all over the streets! So when 3 or 4 kids get killed then we can vote again? This village is screwed up just like silver lake! Probable time to dislove paddock lake and join Salem
The Golf Carts have nothing to do with BAD PARENTING If you chose to let your children
drive golf carts and put themselves and others in harms way that is foolish lets not let the few “BAD” ruin it for all the good people in this great Community. Thanks to all of the supporters. MM (Figure it out)
There still NOT allowed on the streets!!!! All the vote did was tell the board that some want them! The board will NEVER go for it! Trust me

Even if the village board does pass legislation allowing golf carts on village roads, why would a 14 year old be driving? You still need a license to operate on a public roadway.
