Central HS Marching Band in 2014 Columbus Day Parade (VIDEO)

The Central High School Marching Band participated in the 2014 Chicago Columbus Day Parade Monday.

The parade moved this year from Columbus Drive, where it had been held for about 20 years, to State Street, starting at Lake Street and continuing south to Van Buren. Word from those who had been to the parade with the band in years past (the bus drivers), was that the move seemed to attract more spectators. Maybe it added units too, as the parade lasted about two hours, stepping off at 12:30 p.m. and ending about 2:30 p.m.
