Remembering Nate Walter and raising money for new Wilmot tech scholarship


The Nate Walter Run-Walk raised money for a new technology scholarship in his name. Participants gathered at Wilmot High School Wednesday evening. The first walk benefited the Ronald McDonald House. The Walter family used the Ronald McDonald House in Milwaukee while Nate was treated following the accident that eventually claimed his life.

Walter, a Wilmot student at the time, died in June 2013 as the result of injuries suffered in a crash.
