Wilmot UHS softball to host spaghetti dinner, auction Oct. 15

spaghetti-mf-xandert-webThe Wilmot High School Softball Program will be holding a spaghetti dinner and silent auction in the school commons on Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 4 to 8 p.m.

Tickets for the dinner are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12 and are available from any softball player and also at the door. Carryouts will be available starting at 4 p.m.

King Elvis, the mascot of the Kenosha Kingfish, will make an appearance at the dinner from 4 to 5 p.m for fun and photo ops.

During the dinner, there will be holding a silent auction of items donated by area businesses and local sports teams. Some of the auction items include:

  • From the Milwaukee Brewers–An authentic Yovani Gallardo autographed baseball (approx. $100 value)
  • From the Milwaukee Bucks–Two complimentary tickets for a 2014-15 game (min. value $39 each,
  • excluding Chicago and Cleveland games)
  • From the Chicago Bandits Pro Fastpitch–Two complimentary tickets to a 2015 game ($24 value)
  • From the Chicago Cubs–An authentic Pedro Strop autographed photo (approx. $25 value)
  • From the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers–Four complimentary box seat ticket vouchers for a 2015 game ($48
  • value)
  • From the Rockford IceHogs–Four mezzanine end-zone tickets to a 2014-15 game ($56 value)
  • From the Kenosha Kingfish–A King Elvis bobblehead doll (approx. value unknown)
  • From the Paw–Wilmot spiritwear (three shirts–two unisex, one ladies–approx. value unknown)

Softball is also conducting a raffle. First prize is an Apple iPad, 2nd prize is $100 gift card and 3rd prize is a $50 gift certificate to the Paw. The iPad raffle drawing will take place at 7 p.m. during the dinner.
