Pringle Nature Center, 9800 160th Ave., Bristol will be having a Science Saturday: Behavior of Cockroaches on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 to 11 a.m.
Children in 6th to 9th grade will conduct fun experiments. This month, children will design and conduct an experiment to determine environmental preferences of the Madagascar hissing cockroach. Children will observe structures and behaviors of a multicellular organism.

I am a mom that loves bugs! I would like to bring in our hissing cockroaches into my son’s fifth grade class but need some experiment or type or activity for the kids. Please advise, don’t want to just observe and handle. Maybe try preference for color, moisture, light? Thank you for your help ,
