At about 7:19 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue, Town of Salem Fire and Rescue, Paris Fire and Rescue and Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue units and Sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a barn on fire in the 16100 block of Highway 50 in Bristol.
UPDATE 7:21 p.m. — Deputy on scene reports this is a controlled field burn with someone supervising the fire.
UPDATE 7:23 p.m. — All fire units except for Bristol FD units are being told to stand down.
