The Kenosha County Safety Fair will take place Saturday, Sept 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sam’s Club, Highway 31 and Washington Road, in Somers.
The event, which includes demonstrations from fire, rescue and police and other agencies from throughout the county, is free.
Outdoor demonstration are scheduled to include:
- 11 a.m. — Kenosha County Dive Team.
- 11:45 a.m. — Kenosha County Specialized Response Team rope demo.
- 12:30 p.m. — Burn room sprinkler demo.
- 1:15 p.m. — Vehicle crash and accident demo.
- 2 p.m. — Flight for Life medical transport helicopter.
Other outdoor displays will police K-9 demo, fire vehicles, rescue vehicles, police vehicles, rope aerial rescue, Sheriff’s Department Tactical Response, bomb squad.
Indoor booths and displays will be from county Emergency Management, the county Division of Health and the county Memorial Team.
The event is sponsored by the Kenosha County Fire Rescue Safety Association, the Kenosha County Fire Chiefs Association, Kenosha County Emergency Management and Sam’s Club.
