Wilmot UHS to host program on tech safety

Wilmot High School will present “The Dark Side of Digital Technology: Internet, Cell Phones, and Social Media” on Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 6 to 7:3o p.m. at the Lance G. Haas Auditorium at the school.

The program is a presentation pertaining to the real world of Social Media given by Eric Szatkowski, a special agent with the Wisconsin Department of Justice. This presentation is for parents only and will provide eye-opening demonstrations of some troubling sites our kids can be accessing from computers and phones.  There is no cost to attend.

This presentation is only for adults. It is not appropriate for minors.  Freshman, sophomore and junior Wilmot students will have a student version of this presentation during the school day.
