The Alzheimer’s Association’s Bristol Caregiver Support Group is hosting a free and informative workshop on Sept. 15. This workshop is for family/friend caregivers who are caring for a loved one with a memory loss. The purpose of this workshop is to better understand the legal and financial issues that may impact them. Program attendees will be able to understand the importance of advance planning, identify the steps to getting legal, financial and future care plans put in place, be familiar with specific legal issues, future care options and financial issues pertaining to dementia, and use hands-on-tools for making plans now. While the information in this workshop is a general overview of important issues to consider and options to explore, it is not a substitute for professional legal or financial advice.

Diane Baughn, Education and Training Services Manager, with the Alzheimer’s Association of Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter, will present this workshop at  Westosha Community Center, 19200 93rd St., Bristol, on Monday, Sept. 15, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Limited seating available, pre-registration required. To register please call Kathy Ford by Sept. 12, at 262-605-6646, or 1-800-472-8008.
