Severe thunderstorms are in the National Weather Service forecast for our area today and tonight.
There’s a 60 percent chance of severe thunderstorms today and an 80 percent chance tonight. The hourly forecast shows thunderstorms becoming likely about 3 p.m. and even more likely by 8 p.m.
Some chance of thunderstorms persist in the forecast through Monday.
