At about 9:01 a.m., Town of Wheatland Fire Department, Twin Lakes Fire and Rescue and Randall Fire Department are responding to a report of a fire in about the 38000 block of Highway 50 in Wheatland.
Per dispatch: Caller reported large amount of black smoke.
UPDATE 9:09 a.m. — Wheatland chief on the scene. This is a controlled burn. Twin Lakes and Randall departments being told to stand down.
