Methodist churches to host “Weird Animals” vacation Bible school

Vacation Bible School will take place at Salem United Methodist Church during the week of Aug. 4-8. This event is co-organized by the five Methodist Churches of Circuit 41 (Bristol, Wesley Chapel, Pleasant Prairie, Salem and Wilmot). The theme this year is “Weird Animals” and it stresses God’s unconditional love for everyone, no matter how different they might be. VBS will take place daily from 9 a.m. to 12 noon for ages 4th to 5th grade. On the last day, Friday, a light lunch at noon will be followed by a visit from Salem Fire Department. Kids will get a chance to check out a fire engine and learn about the many ways our volunteer firefighters serve the community.
