Libertyfest cardboard boat races

The annual cardboard boat races took place Saturday at Libertyfest in Twin Lakes.

Libertyfest is organized by the Twin Lakes Area Chamber and Business Association.

In spite of really windy conditions, the boats were quite seaworthy. No one sank and everyone managed to stay upright. Mike Kozlac and Andy McArty made sure they stayed safe and on course.

C J Peterson (7) has some problems with traffic and the wind. Eddie (8) and Annie (7) Carmichael, Trevor, Had a little trouble getting going. Brad (8) and Zach (7) Beranek, Twin Lakes, were off to a good start, and won their race.
