The Twin Lakes Area Chamber and Business Association, Inc. recently unveiled a new logo. The sunshine and waves logo was created by Adam Fitzgerald, as an independent study project while a student at Wilmot High School. Adam is now a UW-Whitewater student majoring in Marketing with an emphasis on Internet Marketing. Travis Wetzel, the Technology Instructor at Wilmot High School, recommended Adam because he knew of Adam’s skills and interests in all things computer. Adam was given the old logo and told to create a new look. Wetzel and Adam worked on the logo for a couple weeks and came up with two designs one more basic and the logo that was ultimately chosen by the Chamber. Adam, a lifelong resident of Twin Lakes, came up with the lake theme idea since everything about Twin Lakes is based around the lakes. The Twin Lakes Area Chamber and Business Association, Inc. holds monthly meetings that allow members time to network with other businesses, receive business referrals through the Chamber Office, business listing on the website, link to your email and website, an opportunity to host an After 5 Event and sponsorship opportunities. The Chamber hosts several events throughout the year, offering opportunities to get involved in the community, raise money for charities and scholarships, and present additional opportunities for business referrals and networking. Contact the director Marilyn Trongeau at the Chamber for more information. The phone number is 877-2220 or email at info@twinlakeschamber.com. The office is open Monday- Friday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
