Brighton School tree planting

Students at Brighton School recognized Earth Day and Arbor Day by planting a tree. The Greensprire Linden tree, donated by Breezy Hill Nursery, can grow as tall as 50 feet with heart-shaped leaves.

Different classes came out to look and ask questions. Students in the enthusiastic kindergarten class had to touch the tree. They asked questions of Katie Angel of Breezy Hill. She also asked them questions about trees and some jumped up and down, when they knew the answers.

Each studentĀ  received a sticker for planting a tree, as they headed back to class.
