Kevin Maiter earns Eagle Scout rank

A Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony for Kevin Maiter of Troop 328 took place April 13 at the Town of Salem Fire/Rescue-Trevor Station in Trevor. State Rep Samantha Kerkman was in attendance. Kevin is the son of Tim and Leslee Maiter of Salem. Kevin followed in the footsteps of his brothers, Ryan and Shaun, to become the third Eagle Scout in the Maiter family. In earning this title, Kevin received 36 merits and fulfilled all requirements created by the Eagle Board of Review. Throughout his endeavor to become an Eagle Scout, Kevin held numerous leadership positions such as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Assistant Patrol Leader, Troop Guide, Instructor, Quartermaster, and Scribe. Further, Kevin has demonstrated a deep commitment to his community. He has donated over 140 hours of community service in addition to the 195 hours he spent constructing a hiking trail at Salem Community Park.
