Westosha Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt 2014 coverage

Neither hail nor pouring rain nor thunder nor wet grass kept these intrepid egg collectors from the swift completion of the hunt.

The Westosha- iwanis Egg Hunt took place at its scheduled time and place in spite of the weather. The Salem fire engine horn was sounded and they were off, the field looking colorful behind Salem Grade School from 5,000 eggs covering the grass.

There was one golden egg in each age division, with the finder receiving a special prize. The Easter Bunny arrived on the fire engine and was available for photos.

The event was open to all children ages 2 to 10 west of I-94 in Kenosha County.
