At 5:54 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a fire in the 8100 block of 235th Avenue in Paddock Lake.
Per dispatch: A fence is on fire at this location.
UPDATE 5:55 p.m. — Fence is in backyard.
UPDATE 5:57 p.m. — First fire unit on scene reports ten foot by foot fence is “totally involved.”
UPDATE 5:59 p.m. — Dispatch reports: Fire confined to fence area. Only single engine response needed.
