Units responding to car in pond in Bristol

At about 12:03 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a crash in the 15700 block of Horton Road in Bristol.

Per dispatch: A caller is reporting that a car hit a pole and is now upside down in a pond.

UPDATE 12:05 p.m. — Someone at the scene reports to dispatch that three occupants of the vehicle have gotten out.

UPDATE 12:10 p.m. — Deputy on scene reports that all three occupants of the car are out and on dry land. One reporting an injury. A deputy reports that pole was a electricity pole and is snapped in two.

UPDATE 12:12 p.m. — Eastbound traffic on Horton Road being blocked at Highway 45. Deputy being stationed to the east of the scene to block westbound traffic as well.

UPDATE 12:18 p.m. — Pleasant Prairie responding with an ambulance to the scene.

UPDATE 12:27 p.m. — We Energies expected to arrive on scene within 20 minutes. Wire is down across the road, but not on a vehicle, deputy reports.

UPDATE 12:32 p.m. — A Bristol ambulance transporting a patient to a local hospital.
