UPDATE; Condition of car driver in car-bus crash upgraded

The condition of the driver of a car that struck a school bus Friday on Highway 45 in Paris has been upgraded.

From a statement released Tuesday afternoon by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department:

Shawn Hudon remains at Froedtert Hospital. His condition has been upgraded to stable and he is expected to transfer to a regular care hospital floor in the near future. Deputies did issue Hudon a traffic citation for inattentive driving based solely on the fact that evidence at the scene suggests that Hudon swerved just prior to impacting the rear of the bus. This would indicate that his attention was averted and then regained before impact. …

Meanwhile, a youcaring.com page has been set up to raise funds for the family as well as give updates on Shawn Hudon’s condition. Here’s a link.
