Paris School kicks off literacy project with unit with Mexican dancing

The theme for this year’s all-school literacy unit at Paris School is “Mexico.”

Students kicked off their studies Wednesday with an assembly featuring Mexican dancing and trick roping performance by Escamilla Entertainment, Waukesha

Students, staff and parents attending saw dances from the Aztecs to more modern times, with a variety of music and costumes.

The literacy unit culmination assembly, where the students will present projects and productions that demonstrate their learning about Mexico, will take place March 19.
