Units responding to fire in Silver Lake

At about 5:54 p.m, Silver Lake Fire Department, Silver Lake Rescue, Twin Lakes Fire Department and units from other local fire departments and village police are responding to a report of a structure fire in the 400 block of West Depot Street in Silver Lake.

UPDATE 5:56 p.m. — Per dispatch: Fire was in the back panel of a stove. Flames appear to be out, but there is a lot of smoke in the building.

UPDATE 5:59 p.m. — Police office on the scene reports that there is no active fire at this time.

UPDATE 6 p.m. — Units from Town of Salem Fire/Rescue, Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Twin Lakes Fire Department are holding in quarters.
