Wind chill advisory issued

coldman-sxc-Dave-Dyet-webThe snow from Friday and Saturday actually ended a little earlier than expected Saturday evening. We measured a total of about 2.5 inches at headquarters in Paddock Lake.

The snow’s over, so this winter you know what that means — cold.

Right on cue the National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory  in effect from midnight tonight to 9 a.m., Monday. Wind chill values in the -10 to -20 range are expected during that time.

Looking further ahead, there’s a 50 percent chance of snow in the forecast for Tuesday night and a high temperature near 37 on Friday
