Workshop on life after school for disabled set at Wilmot UHS

A Transition Workshop will be offered on Wednesday, March 19 from 5:30-7:30 pm at Wilmot Union High School. This workshop is for parents whose children are ages 14-21 and who have a developmental disability. The Aging and Disability Resource Center will explain how the ADRC is the first stop for information about all aspects of life related to living with a disability. You will learn about: Family Care & IRIS, Social Security, Guardianship, Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, transition goals in the IEP, Post-secondary Education, and other transition tips. This workshop is presented by: Mary Geraghty- Aging and Disability Resource Center; Deb Hall-Family Engagement Coordinator; and Dannette Cates-CESA #2 Family Engagement Co-coordinator.
