The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for an area of Wisconsin including Kenosha County from 6 a.m. Monday to 6 p.m. Monday.
According to the current (at 7:07 p.m.) NWS hourly forecast the snow could start as early as 6 a.m. and intensify at around 10 a.m., continuing through 5 p.m. before tapering off but possibly continuing to 8 p.m. Snow accumulation could reach 2 to 4 inches.
The advisory points out that visibility will be effected by the snow and roads may be snow covered for the afternoon commute.
The good news is a sustained warm-up is set to begin Tuesday, with a high of 38. That trend should continue at least through Saturday.
