Wind chill advisory still in effect; schools open

Western Kenosha County schools appear to be ready to go back in session today after two days of being closed due to cold temperatures.

It’s definitely warmer today, but still very cold. At 5:53 a.m., it was -11 at Kenosha Regional Airport. A National Weather Service wind chill advisory remains in effect until 9 a.m. (modified from noon).

Trevor Wilmot school closed today. Broken water pipe and flooding in the school. Got the call at 6:30 this morning.
