Wilmot Union HS students participate in Hour of Code

Wilmot Union High School participated in “Hour of Code” last week.

Students will gathered in a computer lab at the school to code for an hour. They learned computer programming to make apps and games.

Hour of Code is a effort that supports Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 9-15).  About 40 students participated at Wilmot.

Kicking off the event at Wilmot was Wilmot alum, and UW-Madison Computer Science graduate, Josh Betz. Betzcurrently works for Automattic, the maker of WordPress and more.
