Not much snow overnight; more today

snowflakepaper-mf-sideshowmomThe overnight snow failed to reach expectations, with westofthei.com headquarters receiving just about .25-.5 of an inch instead of the forecast 1 to 2 inches.

But it’s still snowing out there and the current National Weather Service forecast says we could get 1 to 3 inches of accumulation today.

The lake effect snow advisory issued yesterday is still in effect through 6 p.m. today.

While temperatures are expected to be pleasant today in the high 20s, it should get cold tomorrow, with a high of just 13 and a low Sunday night of 4.

But then there’s a warm-up on the way, reaching a peak of a forecast of a high temperature Thursday of 37.
