Wind chill advisory issued

coldman-sxc-Dave-Dyet-webThere’s more snow on the ground this morning but the National Weather Service forecast says it should be over by about 7 a.m. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch expected.

Meanwhile the NWS has issued a wind chill advisory starting at 6 p.m. today and lasting until 6 a.m. Thursday. Temperatures today should peak this morning at about 14 and then start falling. Tonight’s low is forecast for -5 with wind chill in the -15 and -20 range.,

Thursday will still be cold, with a high of 16, but temperatures are expected to pick up some after that with a high Friday of 25 and a high Saturday of 29. Sunday, it’s back to the cold again with a high of 14.
