Paris Town Board to consider fire/rescue position at special meeting

town-of-paris-logoThe Paris Town Board will hold a special meeting Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 5 p.m. to consider a new fire and rescue daytime supervisory position.

The board is expected to go into closed session for “discussion and possible action of criteria and compensation and related issues pertaining” to the position.

The board reserves the right to reconvene into open session to take possible action, the meeting’s agenda says.

At a recent regular Town Board meeting, town Chairman Virgil Gentz said the town would be considering this move to better ensure emergency medical service coverage during the day.
