Snow expected for Sunday

snowword-mf-jdurham-webThe National Weather Service is forecast snow for our area Sunday and Sunday night.

In fact, Kenosha County is included in a winter weather advisory issued by the NWS and in effect from noon Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday. That advisory says accumulations could be 3 to 5 inches. But the NWS forecasts more focused on our area are calling for one inch Sunday and one inch Sunday night.

Blowing snow will be the problem on Monday, as winds pick up with gusts as high as 30 mph.

The high temperature Sunday is expected to be 36 and 20 on Monday.
