When Tony Huynh graduated college, he foresaw a career in business.

But somewhere along the way, he found he had a different calling.

“I found that I just liked to do nails,” Tony said.

He worked for others for nine years before striking out on his own, eventually starting Utopia Nails and Spa in Kenosha.

Tony prides himself on offering “affordable luxury” to his clients. In creating his facilities, he strove to maintain the highest standards for cleanliness and service while providing services at a good price. Part of what he didn’t like about working for others was that standards were not always the highest in the places he worked in.

“That’s why I wanted to open my own spa,” Tony said, “so I could do it differently.”

Tony opened his first Utopia Nails & Spa store in 2007. Eventually his reputation for affordable luxury and top quality service brought him enough business that he opened a second location near Woodman’s — and close to Western Kenosha County. The new location, at 7224 118th Ave., which Tony refers to as Utopia 2, has 14 pedicure chairs and 14 manicure tables in a soothing, relaxing and private environment that Tony is proud to show-off to a visitor.

Utopia offers  a full range of services including manicure, pedicure and nail colors. Wax services are also available (body wax only at the original location on Green Bay Road in Kenosha).

“While you can expect high quality service at our salon, you can also expect good value,” says Utopia Nails and Spa’s commitment statement. “Our prices are very affordable, equivalent to or lower than average prices in the market.”
