You might think that this past stormy Sunday was an unfortunate day to have picked for a pancake breakfast fundraiser.

Not necessarily the case. Ken Penge, Cubmaster Pack 328, explains:

Just wanted to update you and the community on Cub Scout Pack 328’s pancake breakfast (Sunday) at the Salem Grade school. Despite losing most of our signage to the strong winds, the on and off heavy rains and of course the tornado warning and sirens we still managed to serve about 500 breakfast yesterday and were only slightly off from our financial goals for the year. We wanted to thank the entire community for coming out and supporting us during some of the worst weather we have ever had for a breakfast and helping us to deliver the promise of scouting to our young scouts. We look forward to seeing everyone next November and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
