The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning four an area that includes Western Kenosha County.
The warning is in effect until 10:30 a.m.
At 9:48 a.m. the storm was near Fontana and moving northeast at 55 mph. The NWS estimates the following arrival times:
- Twin Lakes around 10 a.m.
- Silver Lake around 10:05 a.m.
- Paddock Lake around 10:10 a.m.
The storm is capable of producing quarter sized hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
UPDATE 9:59 a.m. — Torando warning now issued until 10:30 a.m.
