Units responding for crash along Highway 50

At about 4 p.m., Town of Salem Fire/Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a crash in the 23000 block of Highway 50 in Salem.

Per dispatch: Preliminary report is that car is off the road on the north side of the road. Car may have struck a tree.

UPDATE 4:04 p.m. — Deputy on scene reports that driver is out of the car, conscious and breathing. Fire command arriving on scene reports vehicle is upright.
