Central High School 2013 Veterans Day Assembly coverage (photos and video)

chs-veterans-day-2013-1Central High School’s students and staff recognized the nation’s military veterans at its annual Veterans Day Assembly Monday.

Typically, the assembly has included a guest speakers, explained Principal Lisa Albrecht. But this years students were asked to express their feelings about veterans with three students being selected to speak.

Leah Holloway spoke about our debt to veterans, including her grandfather Floyd Holloway, a Word War II Navy veteran who was in the audience:
