The National Weather Service forecast for today includes the first accumulation of snow for the season.
The forecast says there will be a 90 chance of snow today with that changing to snow from 1 to 3 p.m. Less than a half inch of accumulation is expected.
Temperatures will be falling all day, from about 45 at 5:45 a.m. to about 29 by 5 p.m. The low tonight is expected to dip to 20.
A chance of more rain and snow returns Thursday night and Friday.
UPDATE 10:53 a.m. — Just back from the Wilmot and Central high schools Veterans Day ceremonies and was starting to see some wet flakes on the windshield.
UPDATE 11:29 a.m. — Around 11:15 what was falling was looking a lot more like snow.
