The 4th annual Fall Frolic 5K Run/Walk was held today at Central High School in Paddock Lake and had over 69 participants. The event was sponsored by Central’s Association of Business Students to benefit March of Dimes and Muscular Dystrophy. The race went through the high school’s parking lot, trail and by the tennis courts.

The race attracted runners of all ages; one of the youngest competitors involved in the race was Noah Bliss a 9 year old from Kenosha. Bliss is a young and accomplished runner who has run in over 50 5K’s. Bliss said today’s race was fun, and a good training for upcoming races. He also placed 4th today.

The winner overall was Shane McNealy, an accomplished cross country runner who just yesterday was representing Central at the state cross country meet. “ I love running and especially on days like today, I raced today like I always race with a plan and a goal to win, though I won today’s race I feel like there’s still more training to do,” McNealy said.
