Proceeds of Salem School PTO’s first bake sale of the year on Thursday will be donated to a special fund set up by The Sharing Center to benefit the families that have been displaced from their homes by last week’s Camp Lake apartment complex fire.
The Bake Sale will take place after school during the Middle School parent/teacher conference time — 4 to 8 p.m.
If you can not attend this bake sale and wish to donate you may send a donation to your student’s homeroom class in an envelope marked Salem PTO-Camp Lake Fire Fund. Checks may be payable to The Sharing Center with a note on the bottom that reads Camp Lake Fire Fund.
Next Tuesday’s PTO bake sale proceeds will go to Salem School PTO.
Those who wish to participate for either sale by baking a baked good or by volunteering to sell at the table, please respond to bake sale chair Kim MacLeod at kimmacleod@wi.rr.com or salempto.com and we will let her know you are interested in helping. Volunteers are still needed to work the table.
