Randall School student music compositions recognized by WSMA

Four Randall School students were among those recognized in the Wisconsin School Music Association’s Student Composition Project.

Recognized were:

  • McKinley Boyle, honorable mention, instrumental solo.
  • Kyle Diedrich, honorable mention, instrumental ensemble.
  • Emily Hershelmann and Jake Brockway, honorable mention, instrumental collaborative ensemble.

Jennifer Vanderloop is the teacher for all of these students.

In the Student Composition project, each student composition is reviewed and receives  a written critique by a professional composer. Division winners receive a scholarship to study composition.
